Hmmm, how did you rename it then? Have you tried renaming it back?

Also you could try updating the permissions?

(Thinking all of the stuff you could do with the web interface :) )

I all else fails you could just enable SSH and do it all manually :)

Well first off have you enabled SSH? Or do you have an unmodded MBWE?

If you have SSH, log into your MBWE with your admin account, then type: cd /var/oxsemi

The type: vi shares.inc

and then just copy what you see, make sure not to change anything!

To exit the file without saving any changes, press escape (to access the bottom line of the screen) and then type ":q!"

Hey there, when you renamed your folder back, did you name the folder EXACTLY what it was called before?

Such as if it was called Folder, you didnt name it folder or FOLDER or fOlder etc etc

Linux is very sensitive :P

Also, can you find your /var/oxsemi/shares.inc file and paste it here? :)

Not sure if anyone will be able to help but i thought it would be worth a try. Currently stored some stuff on the MyBook World Edition and decided to rename the folder, however, after renaming the folder i am getting "Cannot Access \\Storage\Data" and yes data is the new name for the renamed folder lol.

Ive restarted the storage and also renamed it back to the old folder and still get the same msg. Ive emailed WD but as always they havent replied for nearly a week. So i thought i would post on hear to see if anyone had any ideas i can try.
