I have a MyBookWorld 2Tb, not using RAID
1) Plugged in a 1Tb USB drive and rsynced it with a MyBook share. This took a few days and I was away at the time. Computer crashed whilst I was away, so I could not see the SSH window and what happened at the end of the rsync. MyBook was then reporting 0 bytes free from Windows mapped drive
2) I moved 100 Gb of data (videos) off the MyBook onto a local hard drive
3) Only gained about 40 Gb of free space on the MyBook
Something is wrong, and I don't know where to start. Can't see any reason why removing 100 Gb of data would only give me 40 Gb of space!
Thanks for any help :)
== UPDATE ==
I ran "du -c" across the /shares/internal directory.
Total space used: 1,790,796,600 KB
Total capacity: 1,930,080,236 K
Technically, should have free space of: 139,283,636 KB (132 Gb)
/dev/md4 1.8T 1.7T 36G 98% /shares/internal
100Gb has disappeared!
Thanks for any help
