A couple of questions:
libc-dev- this is needed for avahi I take it? It seems to conflict with the zlib package I've already installed, I think I'll just override it.
[root@MyBookWorld ~]# ipkg install libc-dev Installing libc-dev (0.9.28-3) to /opt/... Downloading http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optware/gumstix1151/cross/unstable/libc-dev_0.9.28-3_arm.ipk Installing libnsl (0.9.28-4) to /opt/... Collected errors: Package libc-dev wants to install file /opt/include/zconf.h But that file is already provided by package zlib Package libc-dev wants to install file /opt/include/zlib.h But that file is already provided by package zlib
Also is avahi necessary? There is already an mDNS responder on the book and someone else has mentioned changing it's configuration to broadcast AFP shares here: http://mybookworld.wikidot.com/forum/t-90169/etc-mdnsresponderposix-shelfrestores-after-reboot
I wonder if this could be used instead? I've tried just now, but couldn't get it to work. It's late here so I might try again in the morning.
