I am trying to stream files from my World Book to my wii. I have my world book hooked up to my wrt54gl running dd-wrt. The wii has Mplayerwii on it and supports wifi smb streaming. It successfully streams from my computer, but I cannot get it to stream from the worldbook.
The ip of my Worldbook is 192.168.1.133
The format to define the smb streams is
stream = smb://[username]:[password]@192.168.1.133/public/music/
I created a user [WII11] with a password [wii11]
stream = smb://WII11:331.1.861.291|11iiw#331.1.861.291|11iiw/public/music/
but I can still not access the files on the wii. I have tried all of the usernames available. I can access the web controls on the computer through 192.168.1.133, but I can only access the files if I use \\wdhd\public\ (the name I gave it).
Is there a specific port or such that I need to access it on?
I have hacked the worldbook to work with ssh and installed webserver and access book (along with transmission, but it was downloading too slowly so I removed it), and also disabled mionet. I tried all of this before I ever hacked the worldbook, however, so I don't think this is really significant.
