I'm proud(?) owner of WD MyBook World Edition 1TB (2x500GB) drive. It's a second hand device but previous owner assured me that he was using only oryginal firmware.
I successfully enabed SSH and installed optware stuff and mc using ipkg. My firmware wersion is 02.00.18 and my HDD is in linear mode (1TB capacity).
I was trying to install rTorrent using this faq : http://nanalegumene.net/pages/how-to-install-rtorrent-on-mybookworld/ but I have failed @ pkg-config. :/

I was trying to do my homework by searching this board but only solution given here was to restore from backup /usr directory.
What I have done first was downloading image for my version of MyBook( from link @ http://mybookworld.wikidot.com/forum/t-47836/mbwe2-1tb-2x500gb-raid-1-image-file )
but after unpacking these achives i found out that it's a single image file rather than usable directories. So my question is where can i get /usr directory for my MyBook model ?
Can i use files from http://rapidshare.com/files/60953398/WD_MYBOOK_WE_500GB_FILE.7z ? (1x500GB model) ?
Or maybe i should do something else to install it ?
