I upgraded as soon as I got my unit. Don't remember what the firmware on it was..
- No kernel update, only did system update.
- iTunes server is Firefly (Roku's version 1.0, mt-daapd-svn, has full web interface at http://NAS-IP:3689 - leave username blank, default password is 'mt-daapd')
- Twonky is 4.4.4w
- Samba is 3.0.23 (I think). This causes a problem with using Vista's backup to a share. Vista will fail out immediately after prompting for the user/pass with "Cannot create file where a file already exits". Samba 3.0.23 has a problem with setting ACLs. This was fixed in 3.0.25. Workaround is to make the backup share public and have Vista's backup log on as EVERYONE/(any password) You might also want to try getting optware samba 3.2.8-1 and symlinking the system's smbd and nmbd to it.
what's is command line to change RAID1 to RAID0 (Linear)? The web interface failed but failed to reveal errors?
