I have both a 500GB and 750GB MBWE and a very strange problem appeared on my MBWE750 a couple of days ago.
First I noticed that the Shared Storage Manager (web admin page) start showing "System reconfiguring…" and is not further accessible anymore. Later I also noticed, after activating the NFS server with the Martin Hinner HOW-TO, and configuring NFS, that I could not write to the /var folder anymore. It kept saying "write error: no space left on device".
So, at first I thought the filesystem was corrupt. I killed all relevant processes (incl the lighttpd), managed to unmount and performed a fsck on /dev/md3/. It appeared clean. So did an mount again and was able to write to /var again.
After a reboot I was again unable to write to /var, only able to change existing files! I found out that after starting lighttpd the problem appears, killing the lighttpd process solves the write error. Very strange and annoying!
Anyone have the same or similar problem? Any solution available?
Also, I can't get the NFS to work. Clients keep getting "Permission denied". Any relation possible between these problems?
