Has anyone got the watch dir functionality that was incorporated into transmission 1.6 working on a mbw? (I'm using blue ring with firmware 1) From what I understand it is supposed to use INOTIFY so that it doesn't have to continually check the hard disk for new files (preventing the disk from spinning down). If the platform doesn't support INOTIFY (its a compile time time) then it should result in checking the directory every so often.
I've tried setting both the watch_dir field in the config, and using the command line option for transmission_daemon but both will only detect anything in the watch dir on start up - nothing else gets seen.
Not a deal breaker since my scripts do it automatically, but would be nice to have the INOTIFY stuff working. Does anyone know if there is INOTIFY support built into the kernel that we are using on mbw?
