Set up Webinterface access By default recent version of Transmission only allow webinterface access from the localhost. This means that you may not be able to the webinterface on your local network or over the internet. To fix this edit /root/.config/transmission-daemon/settings.json. Add/edit the following lines to include your local network: "rpc-access-control-list": "127.0.0.*,192.168.1.*", "rpc-whitelist": "127.0.0.1,192.168.1.*", In this example, the daemon will allow all connections from the local host and the local network between 192.168.1.0 to 192.168.1.255. Now you can connect from your web-browser http://<MyBookWorld>:9091/ And that's all. You are running.
Hey, I've tried this, but it doesn't work. I'm trying to connect to http://mybookworld:9091 but no luck.
In the beginning I've got the message "Ip is not allowed to have acces…" or something like that, then I've edited the file again, and now I get connection error
I also get this error
[root@MyBookWorld ~]# /opt/bin/transmission-daemon [23:12:48.143] JSON parser failed in /root/.config/transmission-daemon/settings.json at line 1, column 1: ""rpc-access-cont"
