So, somehow executing "/opt/bin/ipkg remove sabnzbdplus" had rendered the web interface and networking capabilities of my WD MyBook White Light 1TB useless. When I navigate to the web interface, I get the "XML error: no wixnas object found!" error. I tried copying the /proto/ directory from http://mybookworld.wikidot.com/forum/t-163764 to my MBWE, but it seems that doesn't help. I am running the latest firmware and still have access to the SSH interface of the MBWE.
When I try to do a command with ipkg, I get the following error:
~ # /opt/bin/ipkg update ipkg_conf_init: Failed to create temporary directory `(null)': No space left on device
I think it's pretty safe to say that the OS is messed up good. I'm wondering what the easiest way is to recover the OS to a factory state, without losing the data I've copied to the disk? I don't care about retaining my settings and hacks, just the data which is on the 4th partition, if I understood the info on this site correctly. I've been roaming around the forums trying to get a clear answer on how to fix the OS, but the information is quite confusing or is referring to the Blue Ring version of MBWE.
