I moved my whitelight (vertical) from the top of the desk into the desk (horizontally) to a self and after about 20-30 mins I received that email:
Termal alarm: System temperature exceeded threshold.(56 degrees)
The manual said that the operating temperature: 5 to 35 °C (41 to 95 °F).
Before I moved it went on about 50°.
1) What is the real life - still OK - maximum temp for the whitelight?
2) Is it better to have it horizontally or vertically placed?
3) I thought to take an external USB FAN on the top it. Have someone tried this before?
Like sacamante post just for whitelight:

4) What is the best to monitor the temp in XP? ( I have GKrelM but it has no temp monitor function, the Feature Pack has it but I have to log in and go to the perf tab)
Thanks the info in advance.
