Is this guide works for firmware 01.00.28 also?

I'm asking because, I'm afraid that directory structure changed too far to use this solution. Many directories are different than these attached in backup file. I'm afraid to brick my MBWE by using this backup.

Anyone tried this solution on 01.00.28 with MioNet 2.4.0.62?

I'm trying to install gcc with ipkg but its not listed?
Does anyone know what version i need and where can i download it from?
