I have had this occur a couple of times over the last few weeks. When my kids attempt to connect to the western digital via upnp (using XBOX360) they receive an error that there is no unpnp devices available. There is nothing wrong with the connectivity of the 360 - it connects to xbox live with no issues and a restart of the 360 does not have an affect. I can browse shares on the on the WDMWB and can also access the twonky media interface with no issues. The only resolution so far is to restart the device to force twonky to restart….this resolves it. Can anyone indicate what could be causing this issue….and how I can go about troubleshooting what the problem may be? Many thanks
I face to the same trouble since I upgraded the firmware to version 01.01.16.
My box is a freebox (adsl provider).
When i reboot the Mybook the Freebox sees it and works fine for a wile. But for fome reason it stops seeing the UPNP device.
The only solution I found is to reboot it again and again. :-(
I used to work fine with the older firmware.
For me it is regular like clockwork…..6 days and then needs reboot. I can browse to the twonky config page and see the settings, but no upnp receiver will "talk" to it….after restarting the twonky server it works fine for another week.
