I've just started moving into the Linux world (running Ubuntu on my desktop since a month) and I'm busy hacking the Mybook.
Enabled SSh, etc, etc.
It's working quite well.
But I was also busy playing around with my router, a Linksys WRT54-GL, and they use the very handydandy IPKG as a packet manager.
Is it worth it to install it on the Mybook?
I'm compiling as we speak, my first compile ever (well, first did pkg-config, so my second, actually :P )
Will it work?
What are your thoughts about it?
After comiling it (from source) it won't run.
It even says 'command not found' :(
Back to the drawing board I guess… unless somebody has something to say? :)
