I have been using BitTorrent and uTorrent on my PC for torrent work for many years, and have recently switched to using Transmission on my MBWE. I started with using the Tranmission web interface that comes with Features Packs, but have felt constrained by its functionality. To get the full functionality of something like uTorrent but still using Transmission on the MBWE, i installed Transmission-Remote-dot-net onto my PC allowing me to control Transmission on the MBWE both while at home and remotely (as long as i have my PC or install the software on another computer). This is a great solution for users who are at work and want to administer some torrents on their home MBWE. I should point out that the web interface of Transmission does also allow for remote access and control by using the address http://<my_external_IP_address>:9091 . However, the web interface has a much slimmed down set of controls than the Transmission-Remote-dot-net application.
For setting up the Transmission-Remote-dot-net application, the user can use their MBWE internal IP address for the at home control, and their MBWE external IP address for remote control. That is, set up the two connection profiles, and use them accordingly.
