I did it and it works very well. (White light 2x1T)
Thats true you keep your configuration, quite normal it is an upgrade
and lose all of your own installation (Optware and so-on ..),
ank keep all data.
I just come to a strange point : my disks are recognized as "Foreign", which mean I am allowed to reformat them.
Does anyone knows how to set this parameter to "Good".
I was thinking to change tThe parameter is in "/etc/.smart_disk1" and 2.
My actual value is "2" I supppose for "Foreign".
I guessed (from the usage of the file paremeter) that the table value is :
- 0 for Good
- 1 for Bad
- 2 for Foreign
- "" for New
Does anyone try a change, from "2" to "0" for example or the reverse.
Can you check a "0" value for "Good"
