I have a strange situation that I'd appreciate any help on.
I have a MBWE II blue ring, 1 TB, set up to RAID 1, also has the ssh hack and some lighttpd mods
A few days ago, during some physical rearrangements to the house, I accidentally and rudely cut the power on it. After connecting in back in, it boots up, but the lights rotate in what appears to be the "RAID rebuilding" pattern - outer ring rotates clockwise, inner ring is sometimes blank, sometimes also rotating clockwise. The thing is accessible - web interface drive status says "Synchronizing", file access works (but slower, I guess due to the synchronizing), ssh is up… This has been going on for way over the advertized 5 hour rebuilding time.
BUT - there was never a "Drive X failed" message or light flashing pattern, and I haven't replaced any drives on it! What exactly is it doing? Is there a way to check how much longer it's going to synchronize, or if it's ever going finish at all?
Any light on this would be greatly appreciated,
