Whenever aMule or Transmission complete a DL I would like to have it moved onto a disk on a remote Windows machine.
I Tried this:
mkdir -p /mnt/ntserver
mount -t cifs //ntserver/download -o username=user,password=myPassword /mnt/ntserver
All i got was:
mount: Mounting //192.168.1.34/D on /mnt/ntserver failed: No such device
Also I see that many of the samba suite commands do not seem to be installed : smbclient.
I started reading the hack for SAMBA on the White light but it seems to differ quite a bit from what should be done on the blue rings edition so I decided not to proceed.
I am not really after Samba and I am not really technically savvy, I just want to be able to write to a remote NTFS disk transparently without having to go through some FTP workarounds.
Many thanks for your inputs
