Hi, since i have Windows 7, the NAS is not going into standby anymore. Anyone have an idea why, and how to solve?
I know the problem.
This comes from upnp services of WhiteBook and the folder shares in the same workgroup as windows.
Kill all services (Twonky etc) and change your workgroup of WhiteBook to another name. Get the folder shares with the ip adress: \\192.168.16.253\Download
If your windows explorer connected with a folder share, then the whitebook don't go in standby mode.
UPnP is deactivated on my NAS. Changed Workgroup to an other as W7. Hope this works. But connecting to \\IP\Downloads is imho also possible, if the NAS is
in an other Workgroup!
Mhhh…changed the Workgroup, but also still no standby ;( Twonkey etc. is not running on my NAS.
