Optware update and applications install problem
nowo 31 Mar 2010 12:59
I want to run CUPS on my WD. I enabled SSH, tried several ways to install optware, but when I want to run /opt/bin/ipkg update, or install something, I always get back this:
[root@MyBookWorld /]# /opt/bin/ipkg install cups Installing cups (1.4.2-2) to root... Downloading http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optware/mbwe-bluering/cross/unstable/cups_1.4.2-2_arm.ipk Nothing to be done Successfully terminated. Collected errors: Package cups md5sum mismatch. Either the ipkg or the package index are corrupt. Try 'ipkg update'. [root@MyBookWorld /]# /opt/bin/ipkg update Downloading http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optware/mbwe-bluering/cross/unstable/Packages.gz Inflating http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optware/mbwe-bluering/cross/unstable/Packages.gz Updated list of available packages in /opt/lib/ipkg/lists/optware Successfully terminated.
please help me, I do not know what I am doing wrong…
