I have a macbook and a my book world edition white light. Recently I finally upgraded my note to Snow Leopard, Apple`s latest SO. After that, I`m having a lot of issues with the NAS.
First, it won`t automatically mount the shares. After a firmware upgrade, it will show in finder a couple of entries under `shared` called mybookworld and mybookworld-backup. But if I click on one of those and try to connect with a valid credential, it just won`t. It`s somehow talking to mybook though, because if I enter a not valid credential it will show an error message.
I can connect to the shares if I do it manually (apple+K), using afp and the IP address of the server, but it`s painfully slow and will halt after a while.
I`ve searched the whole net and although some more people seem to be having the same issue, no one knows how to fix it. And WD support is of no use at all.. Please help!
