I'm trying to get twonky installed and working on my hard drive using the guides i've found on this website. I've got SSH working using the Martin Hinner hack (altho i have to log into a user every time then use su to get to root - i'm totally new to putty and not sure about startup scripts etc). So then i've followed the optware guide in the column on the left as well as i can. I've installed the unzip IPKG and it shows up in my /opt/bin/ipkg list_installed.
I've then downloaded twonkyvision 4.4.18 (thought i'd use an older version as the newer ones like 6.0 arent mentioned in any guides, am i better off using the newer or older ones?) from XXXX://www.twonkyforum.com/unsupported/4.4.18/twonkymedia-i386-glibc-2.2.5-4.4.18.zip
i've then followed this guide from the forums : http://mybookworld.wikidot.com/forum/t-72617/installing-twonky
Its all good until the unzip command, which results in an "unknown sub-command" error. To clarify I am entering
/opt/bin/ipkg unzip tonkymedia-i386-glibc-2.2.5-4.4.18.zip
Can anyone help?
i can fill in more details where needed, just dont know whats necessary atm
