I was given an older blue-ring world book with a crashed hard drive. I opened it up and replaced the crashed drive with a brand new 1.5TB WD Caviar 'Green' disk. Reassembled it, plugged it in, an everything spun up. I can see the drive (USB connected) as my 'G' drive, but there seems to be something called 'EasySuite' installed that I can't seem to get rid of. As a non-geekly kinda of guy, I could use some help in dealing with this -
1. How do get rid of this 'EasySuite' software? and how do I then format this Caviar drive?
2. I'd like to install software that will allow this box to work like a 'new' world book. I know I need firware and probably some sort of NAS software. Can I get the original software from WD? If not, what's recommended? I don't have access to a Linux box (most of the directions I've found say I need to use this), so is there a Windows version I can use?
