Tried to upgrade to 2.10 because I had an issue with transmission-daemon. It ran out of disk space… ? After downloading 1.6 GB. Could it be some RAM Disk runs out of space?
Here is the message I got when I tried to upgrade.
~ # ipkg install transmission
Upgrading transmission on root from 1.91-1 to 2.10-1…
Nothing to be done
An error ocurred, return value: 22.
ipkg_download: ERROR: Command failed with return value 1: ‘wget —passive-ftp -q -P /opt/ipkg-Fv09qY http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optware/cs05q1armel/cross/unstable/transmission_2.10-1_arm.ipk’
Failed to download transmission. Perhaps you need to run 'ipkg update'?
The message I got from the Transmission web interface:
1.61 GB (1.59 GB verified)
Error: No space left on device (/Download/Torrent/Shutter.Island.MULTISUBS.PAL.DVDR-CONDITION/cdn-shutterisland.r07)
Hope somebody can help.
Update: Found with du that /dev/md0 is 100%. How is that possible?
Update 2: Found that in the settings.json file
It was downloading into root.
However I had changed these lines to point at /DataVolume/Download/ a.s.o. In the log I see that Transmission updates the settings.json file. Is it changing the json file back?
The search continues… The shares are working again. ;-) fhew.
