Yesterday I installed OpenVPN in my system. Now when I shutdown or reboot it, it hangs… I go to its webinterface I press reboot or shutdown, and it starts doing what I asked, and I listen the disk doing the usual "click" before shutting down… The problem is that after the click it stays running, I lost network connectivity but the system is on… What is the problem?… How can I solve it? Thanks!
this looks like you have configured a wrong subnet for the VPN and that there is a conflict with your Home office Network…
Have you used the Feature pack manager to install openvpn ? with the feature pack manager, i have added a control that prevents this mistake…
if you have installed openvpn manually : you need to update your configuration : the Network dedicated for the vpn MUST BE DIFFERENT than you home office network :
if your office network is 192.168.0.X
you should configure 192.168.10.X in the openvpn.conf file….
Hope it helps…
