Hi all.
Sorry, but it has been ages since a last tinkered with any *NIX like system at all.
Anyhow, I'm not to happy with the stock vsftpd. Thought I'd install ProFTPd, since I'm more familiar with that.
I guess you have to choose either or? Because aptitude spits out the following:
NAS:/# aptitude install proftpd
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Reading extended state information
Initializing package states... Done
Reading task descriptions... Done
The following packages will be REMOVED:
vsftpd{a}
The following packages will be upgraded:
libpq5 mysql-common
2 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 to remove and 260 not upgraded.
Need to get 219kB of archives. After unpacking 750kB will be freed.
Do you want to continue? [Y/n/?] n
When I remove vsftpd, is it going to be a pain in the butt to install it again and get it to work with the standard WD-UI for example?
Thanks.
