So, looks like something went wrong:
[root@MyBookWorld lighttpd]# 2007-12-31 11:02:37: (mod_fastcgi.c.892) execve failed for: /usr/local/bin/php.cgi No such file or directory
2007-12-31 11:02:37: (mod_fastcgi.c.920) child exited: 2
2007-12-31 11:02:37: (mod_fastcgi.c.923) if you try do run PHP as FastCGI backend make sure you use the FastCGI enabled version.
You can find out if it is the right one by executing 'php -v' and it should display '(cgi-fcgi)' in the output, NOT (cgi) NOR (cli)
For more information check http://www.lighttpd.net/documentation/fastcgi.html#preparing-php-as-a-fastcgi-program
2007-12-31 11:02:37: (mod_fastcgi.c.1200) [ERROR]: spawning fcgi failed.
2007-12-31 11:02:37: (server.c.673) Configuration of plugins failed. Going down.
I take it something's not in the right folder? I thought I saw things going into the wrong folder when I did make install but I can't be sure, how can I check if all the PHP stuff is installed to the right place? I ran make test and got about 250 or so through it before quitting it, and it passed everything, so obviously it's working…
