I suggest waiting for TeinturMan's feature pack (I use them and they work well). However, if you want to perform some manual back-ups under-the-hood, it is simple - I do the exact same thing on my MBWE and MBL. So, from your MBL type this command:
rsync -a 51.1.861.291|toor#51.1.861.291|toor:/DataVolume/Public/* /DataVolume/shares/Public/mbl_backup
Where your MBWE Edition IP address is: 192.168.1.15 (replace as necessary).
This will backup all the files in your Public folder on MBL and copy them in a directory called mbl_backup. It will ask you for your root password. rsync will copy anything that is new or changed. It is efficient in that it only copies changes - so the next time you launch the command it is fast. It is a one way copy and is not synchronizing changes from your MBWE back to your MBL. (I wanted a 2 way sync so I could make changes either side and so use much more powerful command "unison" which I complied for both boxes to do this).
