Does anyone have any thoughts on Unison file synchroniser?
One laptop, one desktop, one remote workstation all need access to my office documents. Especially the laptop needs to have offline access to all files, but when a file is modified or added, it has to be available again on all computers.
bi-directional synchronisation: copies of all my files on the laptop and home desktop as well as on my MyBook for remote access and backup.
Unison is a file-synchronization tool for Unix and Windows. It allows two replicas of a collection of files and directories to be stored on different hosts (or different disks on the same host), modified separately, and then brought up to date by propagating the changes in each replica to the other.
