I've always noticed that when I look into the bios on my puters I see the option to boot over the lan.. is it possible to
use the mybook to boot coputers over your lan? what does it take? I guess I'd also have to ask, how does boot over lan work?
I'm assuming that your network card talks to a device on the network and as long as that device responds correctly your
computer will attampt to boot over your lan..
is it possible to get the mbwe to respond to and feed a boot over lan?
the purpose of this for me would be just for the hell of it so I can boot into linux but not have it partitioned into my puters hard drive.
I dunno maybe I don't understand enough about it but if it is possible I think it would be cool :)
