Has anyone seen an iPad app that will allow access to a MBWE share and also Search the share by filename? WD2go will access a share; WDPhotos will access a share and search only for photos. Is there anything out there that's more general, so I could search a share for videos, ebooks, music, photos, pdfs, and etc? There seem to be several apps that will access a share — it's the Search feature that's eluding me.
I guess I could put a lightweight HTTP server on the MBWE and some kind of simple search script — but this seems like it might be a reasonably common situation, so I'm wondering if anyone's encountered a nice slick solution.
[another thought: TwonkyServer indexes content; is there some way to make it work as a search engine? I'm still running TwonkyServer 5.1.9]
