Hi, I'm still running a couple of MBWE Blue Ring devices, both with replacement drives, but they are still going strong (family axe anyone?).
I still have in my mind that I'd like to attach my USB connected Weather Station to one of my MBWEs, as it's running 24/7 and would be a great place to collect and store my weather data.
Problem is, I need USB hid drivers to expose the USB device to the weather software. I have found the libusb and libhid packages and loaded them, but information on how to handle them is scarce to non-existent. Google has NOT been my friend.
Most other linuxes, and not a few arm-based systems, seem to support hid devices out of the box with kernel modules and device names like /dev/usb/hiddev0.
Is there anyone out there with the tools and time to create the kernel modules required to allow hid devices on the Blue Ring?
