Thanks a lot for this great site!
I'm trying to convince my Twonky@MyBookLive to decode flac files to wav on the fly for playing them on my andorid smartphone (android 2.1 without native flac support). I followed all steps from "MyBook Live Flac Decode":
How to let Twonky decode flac files there is a file called flac-wav.desc in the directory /usr/local/twonkymedia-5/cgi-bin you can change the file to look like this: # transcode audio (flac to wav) #(c) 2010 by PacketVideo exec: flac $infile -dfs --force-raw-format --endian=big --sign=signed -o $outfile #exec: flac2wav $infile $outfile # capabilities from=audio/x-flac to=audio/x-wav synchronous then you also have to install flac apt-get update apt-get install flac ldconfig Now Twonky can transcode flac into wav. Your mediaplayer will be able to play the twonky-flac transcoded files
But the UPnPlay on my smartphone still saying: "flac-audi not supported".
Someone an idea what is going wrong?
