I'm new to the forum and i hope you guys can help me.
I recently wanted to dump a whole lot of data to my WD mybook world(blue ring 2 x 1TB) over the network it seemed like it would take to long. So I thought i'd take the drives out stick them in a docking station and transfer the files via usb(yes i know im a retard). So stuck the drives in my docking station activated RAID 0 (same config that was on the NAS device) and my machine picked it up as unallocated space. At that point i thought ok my OS can not read the file system so I stuck the NAS box back together. The end result is that the device doesn't start up, drive spin but thats about it. No activity over the eth, usb reset doesn't work either.
It's my guess that my docking station has messed up the original RAID0 config or my windows box has done something to it (as far as i can tell my drive manager didn't try to instalise or mount the drives). Just in case you are thinking it, no i didn't format the drives.
Hope you guys can help me out :)
