Sorry could I get this moved to Installing & Configuring Programs please?
First post so sorry if this is not great or in the wrong place(IT IS), I have searched for answers so if this has been covered please point me in the right direction.
I was geared on by articles on lifehacker and decided to setup a nzbget, couchpotato and sickbeard box using my trusty whitelight..
- I ended up paying for the awesome featurepack to install nzbget and the webinterface so that was easy enough.
- I installed couchpotato using a combination of guides / info and got it to start at boot by adding
"nice /opt/bin/python2.6 /opt/bin/couchpotato/CouchPotato.py" to S90nzbget in /opt/etc/init.d/
I am aware this is probably not best practice but I'm not a script and or linux guy and it worked so I was happy enough..
- I installed sickbeard using a combination of guides / info not too different from couchpotato… I then added the same type of .py pointer to the S90nzbget file.
this time on a reboot nzbget, couchpotato and sickbeard all start up however I cant access the web GUI (WD normal one) I also cant SSH to the box and my nas shares are locked out when I try to access them from my machine??
I pulled the WD HDD mount it in ubuntu remove the added sickbeard.py pointer plug back into MBWE boot and its all working again as normal exept having sickbeard start??
I then got a start script from Copied by Ainer.org modified by another user for another nas which I edited for the correct install locations I tested the script and sickbeard started without issue. after chmod +x and moving to /init.d/ I rebooted and had the same issues as before (no shares/SSH but all 3 started)??
So I pulled the drive and removed the script and run it manually at the moment but wanted to know if anyone had this setup and could offer any advice?
This place is a great resource by the way.
