Moblock was added to the optware list earlier today and I got excited since I really wanted to use this mybook as my main torrenting device anyway and centralize my media.
It's 0.8, which is slightly older, but fine since it'll do the job I want.
Here's what I've done so far:
ipkg install moblock
wget http://www.bluetack.co.uk/config/nipfilter.dat.gz ##which may or may not work with their hosting issues
gzip -d nipfilter.dat.gz
moblock -d nipfilter.dat moblock.log
That's when it errors.
nfnl_talk: sendmsg(netlink) Connection refused
LOG: error during nfq_unbind_pf()
After some googling, there seems to be an issue with a newer net queue type system that was introduced into the kernel in 2.6.14. Not exactly sure how it change, I just know it's not working on this machine, or at least the module isn't loaded after checking with lsmod.
So, I'm thinking there's 2 ways of dealing with this and I'm open to other suggestions.
- Compile moblock from scratch to use the older ip_queue(which i hate doing, because something always goes wrong when I compile stuff)
- Integrate this newer net queue into this kernel by recompiling the kernel on the Mybook - Which seems pretty rediculous.
- Find some way of loading the net queue into userspace so the kernel can use it?
