Ok im new to all this and only had this nas for a couple days and always been a windows user so dont really know linux or unix or anything but learning a lot lately
Now my problem is that I believe I have 2 instances of twonky running at the same time, I have tried installing both ver 6 and 7 of twonky and im happy with twonky 7 and want to stick to it but I think somewhere round the line I havent disabled an earlier version maybe?
Now I use a blueray player to access the nas and it shows up fine as "Network (nas)" as I named it nas in IP:9000/#setup but for some reason I get a second one show up as "Network (MyBookWorld)"
If I enter nas it shows the new twonky icon and works fine, if I enter MyBookWorld it still works fine but instead of the new twonky icon it shows a blue box with TM wrote inside it
Now im guessing something aint right here?
If I type "top" into ssh it shows multiple instances of twonky
Can someone help? I want to get this sorted before buying twonky 7
EDIT: ok I did "mv /twonky /twonkybackup" and now I dont get "Network (MyBookWorld)" show up anymore but when I type top in ssh I still get multiple twonky entries
PID 3965 this one seems the main one using the cpu
3659, 4110, 3673, 3466, 3628, 3495, 3617, 3630, 3654, 3646, 3623, 3637, 3496, 3619
All of those are named twonkyserver
also have the following running: kswapd0, exe, xfsbufd, sshd, kblockd/0
Is all this normal?
