When searching on the web I discovered on sourceforge the password manager "simplevault".
This passworld manager is exactly what I'm looking for. Small, very light (no MYSQL required) and a high level of security.
THERE I JUST ONE PROBLEM THAT HOLDS ME FROM ACTIVATING THIS TOOL:
Prerequisites are: PHP4 or PHP5 with the mcrypt library.
I managed to enable PHP on the lighthttpd service. (using optware)
But optware does not have a mcrypt package nor php-mcrypt.
I found this very usefull topic on a forum: forums. theplanet. c o m/ inde x. php?showtopic=26527
- Installed the gcc compiler (is available through gumstix1511 optware)
- Managed to compiled mcrypt.
- But now I'm suffering for more than two week trying to recompile PHP.
Can anyone help me, or compile a php-mcrypt module? ('mbwe-bluering' or 'gumstix1511' feed)
If I manage to setup this tool I will create a detailed workinstruction for this usefull password management addon.
Thanks in advance
