Not sure if this is related, but I installed ushare and fuppes to connect to my 360 and my networked AMP. Could not get my 360 or Amp to see any media at all via fuppes, and could only get playlists up via ushare with the 360
Messed around with the configuration for quite a while, with no luck untill I found that the entry for setting up the media directories does not seem to work as implied. When there is a delimited list, only the first DIR in the list actually gets shared out correctly to the 360. The AMP sees everything, but the 360 reports no files just one big playlist under music.
I noticed my first dir was actualy the empty public directory, so removed this and suddenly the videos were available, but no music, pictures etc. I realised what was going on at this point and tried space delimited, with no luck , then just put in the one root dir. All was then well and I now see all the media files ont the 360 and the AMP.
I also noticed thought that the music is presented as just one big list of files, so not usefull, and also that once you are playing a file (i.e. an mp3) you need to stop playing it before you can browse the files again, also not great.
So I'm glad there is something that makes this possible (and I definetly appreciate the effort folks have gone to to get even this working), but I will likley look at another application if I get time, like mediaTomb to see if this is better.
