First of all I would like to say gratz to the person who created this site !!
Secondly it all started when I lost my 750GB from the network. I came up to this site by googling and found the image files which led to attaching the disk (after disassembling) to my laptop and runniong a livecd had succesfully rewritten parition 3.
Then I thought why not getting rid of this awful mionet application… So I enabled sshd and that's when it all started…
I installed optware, installed nano, enabled lighttpd, installed vsftpd, permanently stopped mionet from running in WMBE.
In this point I should mention I am an absolute noob concerning linux !
But then the problems started, I cannot possibly map the shares from any of my windows no matter what login/passwd I use !!!
I cannot login to vsftpd no matter what login/passwd I use !!!
What CAN I do is ssh with putty, sftp with winscp (too slow) and access my files with http
What I would like to do map my shares under windows and use windows tools to handle my files or alternatively use an ftp client
All of the actions I performed were taken from this site, did I read possible solutions using this forum? YES for about 2 consecutive days !!!
Any kind of help would be appreciated
