I configured my router and lighttpd so I can access files on MyBookWorld through the net. Everything is working fine, but when someone enters the url http://mbw/nasMaster.pl its shows information like Internal IP, Diskname, Disc Capacity and filling, Networkname and more. These are (not very important, but still) things that I do not want 2 share with visitors.
Now I'm looking for a way to hide this. Ideal would be to restrict access to this file to intenal users (my own network) so I still can use it intern. I tried some things, but these aren't good enough:
- changing the document root futher than /usr/www/lib/PUBLIC to /usr/www/lib/PUBLIC/MYWEBSITE or index-file.names = ( "/PUBLIC/MYWEBSITE/index.html". This does'nt help because http://mbw/nasMaster.pl still works (missing a stylesheet or something).
- adding ".pl" to static-file.exclude-extensions does't work either.
- changing "check-local" from "disable" to "enable" (twice). Not accessible anymore from nowhere.
- maybe it's a nice and easy idea to rename nasMaster.pl to something.pl but I'm not sure thats safe.
Anyone any ideas?
