I have used pyTivo for Windows for quite a while, and love it. I was able to install it and get it working on my WD MyBookWorld II white light. However, I cannot get tivodecode to compile. I was able to install gcc using ipkg, but do not seem to have everything I need.
As I understand it, I need to do:
The configure seems to work, but the "make" command gives me the following:
/DataVolume/Public/Download/pyTivo/bin/tivodecode # make
make: Entering directory ‘/DataVolume/Public/Download/pyTivo/bin/tivodecode’
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -g -O2 -Wall -Wpointer-arith -Winline -Wdeclaration-after-statement -Wendif-labels -Werror-implicit-function-declaration -fno-strict-aliasing -MT hexlib.o -MD -MP -MF .deps/hexlib.Tpo -c -o hexlib.o hexlib.c

make: Leaving directory ‘/DataVolume/Public/Download/pyTivo/bin/tivodecode’

It seems like it must be something with my environment. I have gotten it to work on a Netgear NasDuo before, after running:
- apt-get update
- apt-get install libc6-dev
- apt-get install gcc
- apt-get install gdb
- apt-get install libtag1-dev
- apt-get install uuid-dev
Is there a way to get libc6-dev on the mybook? Is that even the problem? Thanks in advance.
