How do I delete the virtual id folder that mionet has kindly set up for me?
going into root and using rm -R usually sorts anything out :D
Wont that just delete everything?
i meant rm -R <folder name>
such as rm -R Myfolder
Make sure deleting this directory wont screw anything up before doing it btw :D, i just left all my dir's in place and only deleted the ones i made :)
I also have a problem with this! How do i find my id directory in winscp or putty, so i can delete it?
The id<whatever> directory doesn't really exist. It's an smb share mapped to /shares/internal. Edit /var/oxsemi/senvid.inc and delete the contents leaving a 0 bytes file behind. Reboot your mybook and your pc and voila annoying mionet share has gone.
