after a bit of struggling I've succeeded to crss compile latest Mediatomb 12.1.0 on my home Ubuntu box (would not compile on MBWE due to lack of memory). Mostly, I was following the guide here… [gist.github. com/1814602] and managed to resolve several errors during the process despite being beginner (ok, maybe little bit more than that).
I've also included the patch for Samsung TV subtitles, despite I can't test it having LG at home only.
You can download the .ipk package below and install it using
ipkg install mediatomb_0.12.1-5_arm.ipk
This assumes you have Optware running in your box.
It runs fine in my MBWE for two days now. Should you have any problem just ipkg uninstall and install the package from Optware repository (11.x I think).
As always, at your own risk…
If it will run ok for you, I'm even happier man. I don't know how to update the package in Optware then so that next can install from the feed directly.
