Hey guys, thanks for your help with this
I bricked my 2TB MyBook a few weeks back. I've finally been able to restore it using the backup images and process described here: http://mybookworld.wikidot.com/forum/t-48373/backup-images-for-wd-mybook-we-ii-2tb
The MyBook boots up. The LEDs flash, alternating from the inner ring to the outer ring. I can create shares. install SSH, etc.
The only problem I'm having is I am not able to access the large partition, /dev/md4. There is a total of about 2.7 Gb disk space when mapped through Windows Explorer.
I've tried a variety of things, checked the UUIDs, tried to switch to RAID 1 using the Web Interface and then switch back to RAID 0 - have not been able to get this space available.
I've nos gone back and followed the process again from scratchin order to be able to have someone better assist me in determining the problem. Please let me know what other details you need. My feeling is that the /dev/md4 partition is not mounting properly, but I have very limited linux knowledge.
As mentioned, i have SSH access and the drive is booting fine so here's hoping there's not much more to do to get it running properly.
