My guess is that this has come up before, and I apologize, but I didn't find quite what I was looking for so am asking, politely, here.
I just successfully replaced my original 2TB drives with new 3TB drives. Now, I need to migrate the data over from one of the old drives.
My guess is there are a number of ways this can be done; I'm looking for a proven and basic way to do this. I thought I was going to be able to use the USB port on the back and connect the 2TB drive to it and then use copy manager, but this doesn't seem to be an option (the GUI shows the 2TB USB connected drive, but copy manager doesn't seem to be able to read the contents).
Please point me in the right direction. I am running Windows 7 Pro; can run Ubuntu if necessary.
