I have managed to make my .bashrc file corrupt, when I try to log on my Worldbook as su - , I get an error message saying bash: /bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/local/bin: No such file or directory.
When trying to edit the file with vi, I only get an error saying bash: vi: command not found
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to edit my .bashrc file in this state, and if so, how?
I have also tried to install nano via optware, but this won't work because of the damaged .bashrc file.
Found the solution. My problem was that my PATH variable were corrupted.
The solution were this command, to enable my PATH variable again:
That did the trick, and I was able to modify my .bashrc file with vi again.
