I have a fairly simple question. I have a MBWE I 1Tb drive. SSH, ftp running like a champ. Transfer speeds no where near as bad as what some people have been saying. Anyway, my setup is as follows. Two laptops connected to network along with the MBWE. Both laptops can connect via FTP Client, both laptops can access server via browser. The only problem I'm having is when mapping the shares. I have two users setup. When i map the drive to "share A" it requires a uid/pw. For some reason it only accepts one of the two id's and passwords. Both laptops are running Win XP. Laptop 1 is running Pro, laptop 2 is running Home edition. So when trying to access "share A" it asks for uid/pw, i enter it and it doesn't work. I enter the uid/pw for Share B and can access both shares. Is this a limitation in Windows? Or do I have a permission problem?
I'm thinking it's maybe Windows, because I can ftp into the share, enter UID A and get share A or enter UID B and get share B.
I hope this makes sense to someone. Thanks in advance for any ideas.
