transmission help

i get his message when trying to load transmission:

[root@Tooth1 ~]# /opt/bin/transmission-daemon
/opt/bin/transmission-daemon: can't load library 'libintl.so.3'

ive installed it but i jus dnt get y it does this and ive looked through the forums and found nuffin
can anybody help??

libintl comes as part of the gettext package.

did you run ldconfig after installing transmission and its dependencies? I am assuming that you are using Optware and followed the instructions listed in the Optware page regarding ld.so.conf.
